Insurance & Payment Information

We strive to make acupuncture accessible, whether you’re using insurance or paying out of pocket. Here’s how it works at our clinic:

🏥 Currently In-Network

We are currently in-network with Aetna.

That said, we are in the process of expanding our network and expect to be participating with additional insurance providers by Fall 2025. Feel free to check back or join our email list for updates.

💡 Out-of-Network Reimbursement

Even if we are not in-network with your plan, many insurance providers will reimburse for acupuncture services—sometimes in part, sometimes in full. We encourage you to call your insurer and ask:

“Do I have out-of-network benefits for acupuncture?”

If your plan includes reimbursement, we can provide a superbill — a special receipt that includes diagnosis and treatment codes, which you submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

We’re happy to guide you on what questions to ask and how to submit a claim.

💳 HSAs & FSAs Welcome

You can also use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for acupuncture. These accounts often cover our services and can be a great way to use pre-tax dollars to support your health.

💰 Transparent & Accessible Pricing

We believe everyone deserves access to quality acupuncture.

That’s why we’ve made it a priority to keep our cash rates lower than the average in our area. In some cases, our rates are even comparable to or less than a standard insurance copay—especially when you factor in high deductibles or out-of-pocket maxes.

We also offer community acupuncture sessions at a sliding scale rate, to further support affordability for all.

✨ No Surprise Bills

We keep our pricing clear and upfront. Whether you’re using insurance or paying directly, you’ll know the cost of your session ahead of time. No hidden fees. No surprise charges.

🙋 Still Have Questions?

We’re happy to help clarify anything we can.
